The Friends of the Cudlee Creek/Kersbrook Auxiliary invite you to attend their Fashion Parade by ‘Taking Shape’ on Saturday 18th May at 1pm at the Ridgehaven Rise Village Community Hall. Join the Queen Victoria Auxiliary Division at the Regal Theatre for the screening of 'Force of Nature: The Dry 2’. A thriller starring Eric Bana, Anna Torv, Richard Roxburgh and Jacqueline McKenzie.

Due to the screen writers and actors strike in the USA, Eric Bana has stopped the release date for Force of Nature.

If released we will be showing Force of Nature, but if not, we will show ‘About my Father’ starring Robert De Niro.

Refreshments are included. You will be welcomed with glass of wine kindly donated by Angove Family Winemakers and have the opportunity to win wonderful raffle prizes.

Greenock High Tea

The Friends Greenock Auxiliary Group are hosting a High Tea at the Truro Oval Complex on Sunday, 20 November 2022 from 2-4 pm.

There will be raffles, games and maybe an auction so bring along your extra coins!

Funds raised at the event will be allocated towards the purchase of a Cardiotocograph for the Antenatal ward at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. The unit is used to accurately monitor fetal heart rate in an unborn baby, along with the mother’s contractions. The unit proposed here brings the added advantage of also being able to monitor the mother’s blood pressure, heart rhythm and blood oxygen levels.

Heatherby’s majestic old trees tower over and create a leafy green setting for the charming white weatherboard cottage that was once the childhood home of renowned nursery man, Quentin Wollaston of Raywood Nursery.

You can explore this delightful shady and serene garden as part of the Open Garden Scheme on 20th and 21st November between 10 am and 4.30 pm. Devonshire Tea will be available, along with live music on Saturday and a garden ‘walk and talk’ on Sunday. All funds raised will benefit the Women’s and Babies’ Division of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
