With four very dedicated Shops volunteers stepping down after an impressive 90 years of combined service, at the Friends of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Shops Auxiliary division, the Rainbows Cafe is looking for new Friends!

On Wednesday 26th March the the Renmark Auxiliary hosted a lovely Garden Tea Party at Olivewood Homestead, with around 50 guests joining us for our annual Garden Tea Party.

Barefoot lawn bowels success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Barefoot Lawn Bowling Day with Afternoon Tea at Semaphore Bowling Club on 30th March – we had around 60 people join us and it was such a fun afternoon filled with lots of laughs (even for those who didn’t bowl!).

On a bright and sunny Sunday morning in March, the Kadina Auxiliary Friends of the Women's and Children's Hospital brought the community together for a day filled with energy, connection, and fun!

The Greenock Auxiliary held a High Tea on Sunday 3^rd November 2024, at the Greenock Lutheran Hall, this is the second time we have held this style of event. The community enjoys the atmosphere, and the people are now looking forward to sharing an afternoon together.

A massive thank you to Friends of the Women's and Children's Hospital - Queen Victoria Auxiliary, for their amazing fundraising efforts!

On 16th February, 415 guests joined us at the Regal Theatre for a special screening of Bridget Jones - Mad About the Boy.

The Tarlee/Stockport Friend’s auxiliary hosted their fifth Melbourne Cup lunch, with 85 guests in attendance at the Riverton Recreation Grounds and over $5,000 was raised for the hospital on the day.

The Queen Victoria Auxiliary raised $24,400 to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, funding vital equipment to improve newborn care.

The Cleve Auxiliary's "Wedding Dress & Fashion Through the Ages" parade attracted 170 guests and raised $4,500 to support the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, showcasing 164 dresses and a delightful high tea.

The Friends of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Shops Auxiliaries division raised $425,000 to fund essential medical equipment, including gas monitors and breast pumps, significantly enhancing patient care.
