Our wonderful Auxiliary Member Chris Field recently knitted and donated her 3000th doll to the Women's and Children's Hospital (WCH). Chris who turns 90 next year is a dedicated member of the Auburn / Watervale Auxiliary and has been knitting the dolls for the last 10 years.

The dolls are then given to children whilst in hospital.Chris is pictured receiving her Life membership for the Friends in 2019 from WCH Executive Director Mr Phil Robinson and inspirational guest speaker Zoe Foskett.

Chris has been a dedicated member for 21 years and apparently, is the best raffle ticket seller ever. Chris always provides help with the running of the auxiliary when required and her doll contributions are greatly appreciated and valued. The Friends and the WCH thank Chris and wish her another 10 years of happy knitting for the hospital.

New members are always welcome to join any Auxiliary group throughout the state, for more details please contact the Friends office on 08 8161 8445
