Entertainment Membership Supports Ventilator Purchase

Thank you to all those that purchased the Entertainment Memberships last year either on line or from the Volunteer Shops located at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH). As a result an additional $1932 was raised supporting the purchase of a home ventilator.

This important piece of equipment provides assistance with warmed, humidified air delivered with very precisely controlled pressure and flow. Providing this type of support at home can prevent long stays in hospital for SA children, getting them home earlier and back to the surroundings that suit them best.

Three home ventilators have already been purchased by Friends for SA families with an additional four units selected for purchase this year. Fund raising initiatives such as the Entertainment Memberships help to support these purchases.
