Another incredibly successful day for the Port Adelaide Auxiliary with $9000 raised for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. These funds will allow for the purchase of a Resuscitation Cot Monitor. The unit increases the monitoring ability to the point where the sickest babies undergoing resuscitation will be able to be comprehensively monitored at all times.

The Annual Fashion Parade by Fashions From Heaven held on the 27th October was attended by 430 loyal guests. Jane Reilly O.A.M once again provided her amazing support to the group by comparing the day. The event also recognised and celebrates the groups 60th birthday during which time they have raised $450,000 for the hospital.

Kaye Steer, Auxiliary State President said

“these events are a great opportunity to raise significant funds for the hospital whilst bringing our loyal supporters together. Our members are committed to improving treatment options for all South Australian families”.

The Port Adelaide group would like to thank all those that attended the day or donated raffle prizes also a big thank you to Jane Reilly for her ongoing support.
