Friends Region 12 Members Come Together

On Friday, July 26th, Region 12 members from the auxiliary groups Kadina, Maitland/Arthurton, Moonta and Warooka/Yorketown gathered at the Kadina Bowling Club to celebrate their 61st Friends Annual Conference. The event was a wonderful opportunity for members who fundraise for the Women's and Children's Hospital to come together and share their experiences.

Wendy Rowell, Director of Engagement and Commissioning at WCHN, delivered an engaging presentation on the new Women's and Children's Hospital, highlighting its innovative features and benefits. Additionally, Di Smith-McCue, Director of Consumer and Community Engagement at WCHN, spoke about the importance of collaborating with consumers.

Members appreciated the insightful presentations and enjoyed a delightful day, which included a shared lunch and delicious soup prepared by Kadina members.
