On Friday, July 26th, Region 12 members from the auxiliary groups Kadina, Maitland/Arthurton, Moonta and Warooka/Yorketown gathered at the Kadina Bowling Club to celebrate their 61st Friends Annual Conference. The event was a wonderful opportunity for members who fundraise for the Women's and Children's Hospital to come together and share their experiences.

The Friends were extremely pleased to receive and facilitate a $1,500 donation from parents Cassie and Will. Following their experience with the birth of their son Thomas, Cassie and Will donated $1,500 to support the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP).

The Friends Rainbows and Vic's Coffee Shop have added an array of delightful and educational children's books to their collections. Come and explore these wonderful books for sale, designed to be fun, thought-provoking, and engaging, helping readers learn more about the world around them.

The ongoing relationship between the Friends and the Australian Professional Firefighters Foundation (APFF) continues to strengthen. The Friends were pleased to facilitate the recent handover of two HotDog air-free Patient Warmers.
