Friends Welcome their Website Coordinator Volunteer

Friends are delighted to announce the recruitment of their new Website Coordinator Volunteer, Meg Drechsler. Meg is highly skilled in the business of connecting with people and has over 25 years of expertise in communications, media, advertising, training and events.

A decade ago, Meg left the corporate world to dedicate her skills to supporting ‘grass roots’ organisations, small businesses and individuals working to make change in their communities. Meg’s son Cato is now 14, nearly 6ft (and still growing!). They live with their adorable red heeler Ginny near the Karrwirra Parri (Torrens River). Meg loves to walk and spend time looking after the indigenous plants along the river.

Meg is also a budding writer and performer, writes poetry, studies dance and sometimes does stand-up. She has a Cabaret show in the development too!

Meg gave birth at the WCH and has returned many times since with lots of smiles and sandwiches at Rainbows and Vics Café which Meg says has been a lifeline in some of the scariest moments of her life. Meg is extremely happy to pay some of that kindness forward as a new Friend as are The Friends of the WCH Inc. are too! Welcome Meg!
