Bartley Partners Donation

How exciting to see the handover of a Phototherapy Unit by our Inaugural Corporate Partner, Bartley Partners Accounting. The unit, which was donated by the Managing Partner Christopher Overton and his team, was presented to Pauline, Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, WCH.

Christopher knows very well the importance of this type of equipment as his daughter experienced its benefits shortly after her birth. Phototherapy Units treat neonates suffering from jaundice, a relatively common condition in newborns. A special coloured light helps break down unwanted compounds in their body. This non-invasive treatment generally achieves good results within a couple of days.

 Christopher explains

“We got involved in Friends as part of our firms charitable giving program where we support different charities each month chosen by our staff and partners. One of our staff has family members working at the WCH who introduced us to Friends and their amazing fundraising efforts to support the hospital. It has become a favourite charity among our staff as we are able to support Friends in our own small way to purchase equipment that is in short supply and by doing so changing the lives of children in South Australia. We are also working to introduce Friends to other firms who like us look to find a way to give something back to the community.”

Bartley Partners boasts a team of Adelaide business accountants focusing on small businesses, property taxes and development, self-managed super funds (SMSFs), and forensic audits.

The Friends are delighted to build a relationship with them and welcome any other businesses that may wish to become Corporate Partners. Learn more about the Corporate Partner program.

This unique opportunity allows businesses or individuals, that wish to contribute to society by supporting the well-being of women and children, to select from predetermined equipment items required by the hospital with 100% of their donation allocated to the item or items they have selected.

The Friends thank Bartley Partners for their ongoing support.
