QVA Play Day in May

Another very successful ‘Play Day in May’ (games day) recently raised $3,100 which will be used to purchase a Sofa Reclining Bed for families in the Women’s and Babies’ Division, Maternity Ward.

Tables of Bridge, Canasta, and Mahjong players filled the delightful venue. The very willing members of the Queen Victoria Auxiliary committee, worked tirelessly to ensure a delicious homemade morning Tea and lunch with sweeties for ‘afters’, was served throughout the day. Everyone had a wonderful time.
